1950's Home Given New Lease of Life

This open plan living room is a result of opening up the space by removing a number of internal walls. The existing baltic pine floorboards which had been covered with carpet, ceramic tiles and linoleum tiles were cleaned up and sanded and polished back to natural beauty. The red feature wall really gives the space energy and makes it feel alive. North facing windows ensure plenty of natural daylight gets into the living space.
