Outside Door And Glass Wall

Outside Door And Glass Wall

The new external walls were a custom built structural timber skeletal frame to support the roof. These walls frames were then sheeted with double glazing externally. This allows maximum light penetration through the glass with minimal heat gain/loss through the double glazing. The large glass sliding door ensures the space can be opened up to maximum effect when required. Webglass cladding has been used on other external walls, with insulation between wall frames, this continues the effect of the visibility of the structural frame as a black silouette as light passes through the webglass and insulation.
